Ind vs Pak: Virat Kohli made India win against Pakistan by 4 Wickets

Melbourne witnessed a thrilling India vs Pakistan match on 23 October. The match was not more than a movie, full of suspense. But Virat Kohli steps forward and made the win by 4 Wickets.

India won the Toss and decided to bowl first and the Indian bowlers gives a good start. Star batsman of Pakistan Babar Azam was out by Arshdeep Singh. And in his second over he gets out Rizwan, which set the tone of the match. But Iftikhar and Masood made a good partnership and took Pakistan’s scores to 96-2.

Then Hardik Pandya takes back-to-back 3 wickets. Pandya got Shadab Khan, Nawaz and Haider Ali in his bag. But in the end there is slight leak of running by the Pak batsman which put Pakistan in a good position. Pakistan at last gives India a target of 160 runs.

Indian innings start with a massive blow of Naseem shah to KL Rahul. Next over Haris Rauf also out the Indian skipper, Rohit Sharma. But Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav give some hope to run chase. But Haris Rauf came with a speedy bouncer to Suryakumar Yadav which made it to the Dugout. Then India sends Axar Patel for Right hand and left-hand combination. But a slight misunderstanding between Virat and Axar made Axar out. Then the responsibility of the whole run chase comes under the shoulder of Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya.

And both the Batsmen took this responsibility quite warmly. Virat and Hardik Pandya made a good Partnership and put the Indian Score to 148. But since this is India Vs Pakistan the match has to be full of climax. Nawaz out Hardik Pandya on his 1st over which change the course of the tide to the Pakistan side. Then Dinesh Kartik was also out on the last over. The match comes to a position where India needed 1 run from 1 ball and Ashwin was on Strike. But Ashwin made no choice of taking a run and hit over the top of a straight boundary and made India win.

But This knock of Virat Kohli is really memorable. It would be remembered and written in Indian history forever
