Gujarat Giants won the toss and decided to bat first. Gujarat in the first innings scored 188/4 on the board. Laura Wolvaardt played a stunning knock of 68 runs from Gujarat Giants. But in response, RCB gives a good reply and wins the match by 8 wickets (27 balls left). RCB was totally in backfoot in the first stage of the tournament. They lost continuous 5 matches in a row.

But RCB is back in the game from the last 2 matches. Virat Kohli visited the RCB camp to boost the confidence of the women’s team. It seems the motivation works for the team. RCB has 1 last match against Mumbai Indians on 21 March. RCB has a very thin chance to qualify for the playoffs. UP-Warriorz needs to lose the last 2 games for RCB to qualify.
